    New

    • Agents show pages on your iPhone: the phone app now joins as a client, so agents can open pages, files and websites in its Page view and drive them there (show_page, show_file, drive_page). It runs no commands; shell, file and signing requests still go only to Macs.
    • One-tap new task on iPhone: a + button in the bottom bar opens the switcher to start a task, and a list button jumps straight back to the task list.
    • Images in question answers on iPhone: the Other field of a question can attach photos or paste an image from the clipboard, like the composer.
    • Tailscale sign-in inside the iPhone app: Sign in opens the Tailscale page in an in-app browser that closes itself once the node is running.
    • Status comes first: the Status tab sits right after Lead on the Mac and opens first under More on the iPhone.
    • One build number everywhere: the Mac and iPhone apps built from one commit share one build number, the commit's time. The Status tab's client list shows each client's device and build, and fits the phone's width.
    • Notes as Markdown: the Notes tab renders each note's formatting, links and lists.
    • The lead hears every merge: a task merged or discarded always wakes your lead, whoever closed it, so "after that merge, deploy" just works.

    Fixed

    • iPhone keyboard: the keyboard goes away when you switch pages or tabs, and drags away as you scroll.
    • iPhone touch targets: buttons and small links are tall enough to tap reliably.
    • ⌘P keyboard focus: the project dashboard takes keyboard focus when ⌘P or the switcher opens it.
    • Discussion tasks: a task that is only a conversation is no longer pushed to call ready-to-merge or discard while the discussion goes on.
    • Agents answer the ready nudge: an agent that had already marked a task ready, suggested a discard or asked a question repeats it after the nudge, so it isn't lost.
    • Tool rows outside the worktree: a tool call on a file outside the task's worktree shows the file's name instead of its full path.

    Install

    Download byre-0.2.0.dmg and drag Byre.app to Applications; Macs already running 0.1.9 get this through the app's updater. The disk image's SHA-256 is in byre-0.2.0.dmg.sha256.
