    New

    • Pages beside the transcript: agents can show you an HTML page, PDF or image (show_page) in a Page view next to the task's transcript, with the page's own stylesheets, scripts and images, reloading when the agent changes it. Several pages open as tabs you can switch between and close, and the Page tab keeps the last one reachable. Agents can also open a file or folder in the Files tab (show_file), and their file tools reach any path the agent can read.
    • Task views in a sheet: a task's other tabs, and images and diagrams zoomed from its transcript, open in a sheet over the left pane in the task's color, so the transcript stays in view; clicking the strip of left pane that stays visible closes it.
    • Scheduled tasks: the Project tab has a Schedules section that starts a task, run by one agent or a workflow, every hour, day, week or month at a set time, and your lead agent can manage schedules too.
    • Architecture diagrams: agents can draw box diagrams that the app renders in the transcript; clicking one opens a full-size view to zoom, pan and highlight boxes and their connections. Agents can check a diagram's rendering before sending it. Mermaid blocks now show as plain code.
    • Discuss decisions before merging: ready-to-merge overviews list the major decisions the agent made, and each has a Discuss link to comment on it.
    • Merge push progress: a merge shows its push to the remote while it runs, instead of looking stuck.
    • Instant terminal: the Terminal tab shows the terminal as soon as it opens.

    Fixed

    • Enter in the merge dialog: Enter merges reliably, and focus returns to where it was when a dialog closes.
    • Task lists after reconnect: the app reloads its task lists when its connection to the server comes back, so it no longer shows stale tasks.
    • Schedule labels: weekday names in schedule labels are correct.
    • Preview security: previews and the Page view refuse requests through hostnames a website could rebind to your Mac.

    Install

    Download byre-0.1.8.dmg and drag Byre.app to Applications; Macs already running 0.1.7 get this through the app's updater. The disk image's SHA-256 is in byre-0.1.8.dmg.sha256.
