# Riverdi RVT70HSHNWC00-B datasheet — transcription
Full visual transcription (tables intact) of the Riverdi public datasheet
`DS_RVT70HSHNWC00-B Rev.1.6` ("HB,IPS 7.0" HDMI LCD TFT DATASHEET", TFT Module
Specification), all 18 pages. Source PDF alongside as
[riverdi-rvt70hshnwc00-b-datasheet.pdf](riverdi-rvt70hshnwc00-b-datasheet.pdf).
This is the **module** specification: the carrier board (RTD2660H HDMI controller, power,
backlight, USB-C touch) and the module-level mechanical, optical and inspection data. It is not
the panel timing specification — section 11 defers the display's own detail to the TFT panel
inside it, transcribed alongside as
[riverdi-rvt70hstnwc00-b-datasheet.md](riverdi-rvt70hstnwc00-b-datasheet.md), so this document
contains no pixel clock or blanking table.
Transcription notes:
- Each page's content begins with an HTML comment page marker `<!-- p.N -->` (N = the printed
datasheet page number) for cross-reference and continuity.
- Every specification, pinout and criteria table is reproduced as a Markdown table.
- Graphical figures, the PCB photograph and the mechanical drawing are **not** pixel-reproduced;
they are given a short prose description prefixed `*Figure (described):*`, with all dimension
and label callouts transcribed.
- Pure transcription: no cabletest commentary is interleaved, and typographic errors in the
original (e.g. the panel part number in section 11, "Clo6ck" in the HDMI pinout) are
reproduced as printed rather than silently corrected.

## 4. ASSEMBLY GUIDE
### 4.1 uxTouch ASSEMBLY
uxTouch are LCD TFT displays with specially designed projected capacitive touch panels.
uxTouch display can be mounted without any additional holes in the housing. Our standard
uxTouch displays include double-sided adhesive tape (DST) to stick TFT easily to the housing.
uxTouch models with double-side adhesive tape can be mounted by fastening the glass to the
housing.
*Figure 1. Example of using the support brackets*
*Figure (described):* two 3-D renderings of the module in a blue housing — front view showing
the grey active area behind the cover glass, and rear three-quarter view showing the green
carrier PCB recessed into the housing with the mounting bracket points marked at the corners.

**Note 1.** Contrast Ratio (CR) is defined mathematically as below, for more information see
Figure 3.
> Contrast Ratio = Average Surface Luminance with all white pixels (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5) ÷
> Average Surface Luminance with all black pixels (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5)
**Note 2.** Surface luminance is the LCD surface from the surface with all pixels displaying
white at 100% backlight. For more information see Figure 3.
> Lv = Average Surface Luminance with all white pixels (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5)
**Note 3.** The uniformity in surface luminance δ WHITE is determined by measuring luminance at
each test position 1 through 5, and then dividing the minimum luminance of 5 points luminance
by maximum luminance of 5 points luminance. For more information see Figure 3.
> δ WHITE = Minimum Surface Luminance with all white pixels (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5) ÷
> Maximum Surface Luminance with all white pixels (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5)
**Note 4.** Response time is the time required for the display to transition from white to
black (Rise Time, Tr) and from black to white (Decay Time, Tf) as shown in Figure 2. For
additional information see Figure 2. The test equipment is BM-7A.
**Note 5.** CIE (x, y) chromaticity, the x, y value is determined by measuring luminance at each
test position 1 through 5, and then calculating the average value.
---
<!-- p.9 -->
**Note 6.** For TFT module the contrast ratio is greater than 10. The angles are determined for
the horizontal or x axis and the vertical or y axis with respect to the z axis which is normal
to LCD surface. For more information see Figure 4.
**Note 7.** Viewing angle is measured at the center point of the LCD by CONOSCOPE (ergo-80). For
response time testing, the testing data is based on BM-7A. Instruments for Contrast Ratio,
Surface Luminance, Luminance Uniformity, Chromaticity the test data is based on SR-3A.

*Figure (described):* optical response versus time trace. The vertical axis is marked 0%, 10%,
90% and 100%. The trace starts at 100% ("white"), falls through the 90%→10% band in the
interval marked Tr, holds at 0% ("black"), then rises back through 10%→90% in a second
interval also marked Tr, returning to 100% ("white").

# Riverdi RVT70HSTNWC00-B datasheet — transcription
Full visual transcription (tables intact) of the Riverdi public datasheet
`DS_RVT70HSTNWC00-B Rev.1.2` ("IPS RGB 7.0" LCD TFT DATASHEET", TFT Module Specification), all
19 pages. Source PDF alongside as
[riverdi-rvt70hstnwc00-b-datasheet.pdf](riverdi-rvt70hstnwc00-b-datasheet.pdf).
This is the **TFT panel** — parallel RGB interface, 3.3 V, driven directly by the host's pixel
clock. It is the panel inside the HDMI module
[RVT70HSHNWC00-B](riverdi-rvt70hshnwc00-b-datasheet.md), whose section 11 names it (as
"RVT70HSTNWC00-B") and defers all display detail here. It is therefore the only source for the
panel's timing numbers: section 13.3 carries the DE-mode and HV-mode tables the module
datasheet omits.
Note what this timing does and does not govern. On the HDMI module the RTD2660H scaler owns
this RGB interface and retimes whatever arrives over HDMI onto it, so these figures are the
panel's own limits, not the timing a HDMI source must send.
Transcription notes:
- Each page's content begins with an HTML comment page marker `<!-- p.N -->` (N = the printed
datasheet page number) for cross-reference and continuity.
- Every specification, pinout and criteria table is reproduced as a Markdown table. Cells merged
across rows in the original are repeated per row.
- Graphical figures, waveform diagrams and the mechanical drawing are **not** pixel-reproduced;
they are given a short prose description prefixed `*Figure (described):*`, with all dimension
and label callouts transcribed.
- Pure transcription: no cabletest commentary is interleaved, and typographic errors in the
original (e.g. "OPATICAL BONDING", "Add" inch" unit") are reproduced as printed.

## 4. uxTouch ASSEMBLY
uxTouch are LCD TFT displays with specially designed projected capacitive touch panels.
uxTouch display can be mounted without any additional holes in the housing. Our standard
uxTouch displays include double-sided adhesive tape (DST) to stick TFT easily to the housing.
uxTouch models with double-side adhesive tape can be mounted by fastening the glass to the
housing.

**Note 2.** Surface luminance is the LCD surface from the surface with all pixels displaying
white. For more information see Figure 3.
---
<!-- p.9 -->
**Note 4.** Response time is the time required for the display to transition from white to
black (Rise Time, Tr) and from black to white (Decay Time, Tf). For additional information see
Figure 2. The test equipment is Autronic-Melchers's ConoScope series.
**Note 5.** CIE (x, y) chromaticity, the x, y value is determined by measuring luminance at each
test position 1 through 5, and then make average value.
**Note 6.** Viewing angle is the angle at which the contrast ratio is greater than 2. For TFT
module the contrast ratio is greater than 10. The angles are determined for the horizontal or x
axis and the vertical or y axis with respect to the z axis which is normal to LCD surface. For
more information see Figure 4.
**Note 7.** For viewing angle and response time testing, the testing data is based on
Autronic-Melchers's ConoScope series. Instruments for Contrast Ratio, Surface Luminance,
Luminance Uniformity, CIE the test data is based on TOPCON's BM-5 photo detector.
